Self-Portrait Of Hair

It's funny how the expression in your eyes completely changes from one to the other. The loss of ones hair is truly transformative.

I agree with Mimi.

It's interesting that you actually seem to have a look that suggests more confidence in the image without your hair. I think that is interesting because one would assume that to be a more vulnerable state... maybe?

See, I think the eyes look more depressed in the image of you without the hair, but the rest of the face looks more confident. This might be because you are aware of your newfound nakedness and your face is instinctively trying to overcompensate. I like these. I want to be able to click and drag all the hair from the right one over to the left one.

This would work well as an advertisement for a hair grow product.

For me his eyes are so prominent that the change of hair doesn't transform much for me. I think drew copied his stare in both pictures. I don't see the difference.

i love before and after shots hair is such a natural mask it can change you so much like mustaches -if movies have taught me anything it's that -put on a mustache and no one will know who you are.

you know, i feel like this is you documenting your transition to a serial killer/school mass murderer. i know this isn't what you're really saying (right?) but I do see a deff transition that's creepy in its intensity.

The other little thing about this one, especially if seen as a transitional images (from hair to hairless), is that you would expect to see the hair image first and the shaved one second, right? Reading left to right...I don't know, just can't get that out of my head.

I think the order works. It's like those paper dolls that you can clothe, if you choose. But don't you always want to look underneath when you do? I would describe you as resolute...grounded, in the first image.
