I'm stuck inside. . .

So its expressing a lack of interactions. A disconnect from the outside world and all its fun interactions. All alone and interacting with yourself. I'm getting most of this from the title. I really don't like staring at these claustrophobic blinds, I just want to dive out the window. I'm the victim of a boring scene. That is the point though, according to the title. Hmmm.

The initial draw to the scene was the interaction of the sunlight with the cold shade inside. After the purely visceral reaction the mind took over and added the narrative about isolation. I know it is an image that we've seen many times, but sometimes half the effort to get shooting is the chore of overcoming the feeling that something has been done and just do our own version.

Thats true - sometimes I'm afraid I'm riffing too closely to something but I can't quite remember. Like some crap I shot years ago. And you have to shoot it if you feel its worthwhile. A lot happens for me between the shutter and viewing it for the first time on the computer. You can be surprised at what suddenly becomes original and what suddenly becomes lame.
